We’re well aware that Fombags aren’t the only bean bags in the world. (Though they really should be!) With that in mind, we’ve got a fun game for you to play with your kids around Valentine’s Day. This is a simple game that you and the kids can make together, and then play together.
You’ll need:
Dried beans
Canvas fabric
Scissors
Large heart shaped cookie cutters
No-sew glue
A marker
In order to make the bean bags, you can have the kids use large cookie cutters to trace out shapes on the canvas fabric. They can then cut out two of each shape. Each child should make three bean bags. Place the two heart shapes together and use the no-sew glue to stick them in place—be sure to leave a small opening so you can turn them inside out. Once they’re inside out, pour the dried beans into the hole. Tuck the edge in and use the no-sew glue to close them up.
Set up a target on the ground (preferably heart shaped!) and have the kids aim for it. It’s a great Valentine’s Day game that everyone will enjoy.
When you’re done playing, you can kick back and relax in a Fombag! (We had to say it… After all, there’s no better way to end the day!)
